    The Consulate General of the UAE Karachi strongly denied the report of visa ban and declared it “fake news”. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi said that the UAE government had imposed no such ban.

    The spokesman of the UAE Embassy in Pakistan has also denied any such news. On the query of media, he clarified that no such ban has been imposed by the government of the Emirate.

    Citizens of Pakistan can apply for a UAE visit visa or any other visa and visas are being issued to them.

    He said that apart from Islamabad and Lahore, visas are being given to those born or residing in these cities from the Karachi Consulate.

    The embassy regretted the information and expressed ignorance of their motives and strongly denied and condemned the information.

    On the other hand, the Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson also confirmed that the United Arab Emirates did not ban or blacklist the issuance of visas to Pakistanis belonging to specific cities.

    The Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch told that they have seen the reports and can confirm that no such ban is in place by UAE for the issuance of visas to Pakistani citizens.
