How to get a visa protector?

There are two possible ways of getting a work visa in Pakistan either direct from a foreign company or through an authorized overseas employment promoter. In both cases, you will have to follow these steps to get a visa protector.

Step1)-

If you have gotten a direct visa, you will have to go for an online protector registration request by clicking on this link  https://beoe.gov.pk/direct-emigrant-registration

The system will generate a tracking number after the submission of the application, you have to get its print. This is also called an online protector.

In other cases, overseas employment promoters provide this registration tracking number to their clients.

Step2)-

In the second step, you will visit your nearest Protector office you can check from this list.

  2. Original Passport with a valid work visa  
  3. Job agreement
  4. Copy of Passport FrontPage and all Visas stamped on your passport
  5. NADRA ID card and NICOP
  6. Affidavit/ bayan e halfi. 
  7. Siblings CNIC and its copy
  8. Police clearance certificate copy
  9. Medical fitness certificate issued by the authorized hospital/clinic regarding the country.
  10. State Life insurance policy (It will be issued at the visa protector office)

Upon entering the Visa Protector Office, you will get a token and will have to wait for your turn.

Step5)-

Now you will enter a hall where officials will brief you with other applicants about your legal rights and responsibilities while living abroad. The benefits of visa protection also will be discussed.

Step7)-

It is time to deposit fees in a bank situated in the premises of the same office. Then you will submit all papers on the prescribed window. Now you are free to take a rest. The officer will inform you of the time when you can collect your stamped passport on the same day.

  1. Hi, i got my work visa protection from Lahore Pakistan before travelling to Qatar. now my Visa has been changed to Residence card in Qatar. now i came back to Pakistan on this residence card. do I still require my visa protection for travelling back to Qatar?
