Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station is the main bus station in the emirate of Abu Dhabi operating 24/7. It’s a hub for both local buses and other buses to the Emirates. The iconic green building, also known as Abu Dhabi Main Bus Terminal is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city.

It was opened in 1989 and designed by architect Georgi Kolarov of Technoexportstroy. He was a very skilled architect of the Bulgarian state construction company. The modern structure itself tells about the history of Soviet-era Eastern Europe.

The bus terminal provides travel services to two major bus stations in the Emirates:

1)- Bus E100 to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station

2)- Bus E101 to Ibn Battuta Bus Station

The bus service is operated and managed under the supervision of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This is the cheapest bus service between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station is located on First Street in Abu Dhabi city named (Sultan Bin Zayed). It’s adjacent to Al Nahyan Stadium and Al Wahda Mall.

Al Nahyan Stadium is a famous home ground of a local professional football team of Abu Dhabi called Al Wahda FC.

Al Wahda Mall is one of the great shopping mall projects in Abu Dhabi. It consists of over 300 stores including a hypermarket. There’s a cinema for movie lovers and a list of restaurants and food outlets to select from.

Abu Dhabi to Dubai BUS Service

BUS E100 departs from the Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station and stops at the Al Ghubaiba bus station (Last Station). People who want to reach Al Ghubaiba or any destination nearby the area can take this bus. These buses have been used for many years and are maintained timely by the authorities to ensure that these services run smoothly. It’s the best option for people traveling to the capital city. The ticket cost is AED 25 (single side).

BUS E101

People living in the center of Abu Dhabi can select this bus. It operates six days a week and is off on Saturday. The bus departs from the Central Bus Station and stops at Ibn Battuta (Last Station). Residents of Mussafah used to travel to Central Abu Dhabi to complete this trip. But after the launch of E102, the crowd on the E101 Bus route from Abu Dhabi to Dubai will be handled. The ticket cost is AED 25 (single side).

BUS E102

The E102 Bus was recently introduced to the list of buses operating from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. It connects Ibn Battuta to Mussafah. The residents of the outpost areas of Mussafah are blessed with this bus addition. Now, they won’t need to travel to Abu Dhabi central bus station to catch a bus to Dubai. The ticket cost is AED 25 (single side).
