Italy Seasonal Work Visa

Italy issues more than 30 thousand work visas every year including seasonal and non-seasonal work visas. This annual program is known as Italy Seasonal Work Visa Program, “Decreto Flussi” in the Italian language.

“Decreto Flussi 2020” has been announced by the ministry of interior Italy. There are 18 thousand seasonal and 12850 non-seasonal work visas in the program, as usual, the total number is 30850. The applications can be submitted between 27 Oct 2020 to 31 Dec 2020.

Trades for Seasonal Jobs

Requirements for Seasonal Work Visa

As these are routine labor jobs, not certain requirements are kept for this program. No education, experience and language skill is required. The age limit is also not announced but the people of 40 plus should not apply.

Procedure to apply for a seasonal work visa

After getting a job offer and SPID from the employer you will be able to apply for the seasonal work visa on this link.

You will submit your application and wait for receiving confirmation from the immigration department. After getting confirmation, you will be advised to contact the Italian Embassy in Pakistan which will issue a 9-month work visa.

Seasonal Work Visa Without Job Offer

Italy offers seasonal visa without a job offer to Entrepreneurs, Free Lancers, Famous Artists, and start-up creators. They are considered self-employed persons and need a license from Italian authorities, compulsory for setting up a new business for all. They have to apply for this license online before applying for a seasonal visa. The rest procedure is the same as the first category.

Important Information

You will have to leave Ital after 9months if remains fail to arrange a new contract job. Educated persons also have a chance of conversion of this D type visa to the C category on the basis of their 12 years of education.
